Now is a good time to learn Touch Typing
Do you know there's a way to save hours and hours of your time? For the next 4 years of Secondary school and for the rest of your life!
It's very simple. Learn Touch Typing now.
Touch Typing refers to typing without looking at the keyboard.
Advantages:
A touch typist can key in words twice or more times as fast as those who peck at the keyboard. In other words, what others take an hour to key in, a touch typist takes only half an hour or less. The more the number of words to be keyed in, the more the time saved.
A touch typist also can concentrate more on the writing and not have to struggle with the fingers trying to find the letters on the keyboard. This is especially important when keying in a composition without writing it on a piece of paper first. More time saved!
How to Learn Touch Typing:
The easiest is to sign up with a free Touch Typing website and spend an hour or more everyday to go through the lessons. You will need about a month to reach a speed of 20 words per minute. If you practise faithfully daily, you should hit 40 words per minute after 2 or 3 months. Your speed will increase as you practise your skill.
Start Now!
Get started now because you are still quite free. Next year, you will be very busy and there won't be much spare time. You won't regret picking up this skill, I promise. I know because many of my former pupils who listen to my advice tell me they have benefited a lot from having learnt Touch Typing. Best of all, they say they have saved hundreds of hours through the years!

Feeling Bored?
Bored?
Now that PSLE exams are over, what are you doing with your time?
My advice to you is: Don't waste your time!
You need to cultivate the mindset of always making good use of your time. Have a list of things to do and learn whenever you're free.
Time is a kind of wealth. We can use it to buy useful things, or we can fritter it away on useless things. If you keep learning things, you get wiser, more knowledgeable, more able to think.
I suggest reading whenever you're free. I mean reading useful things, not frivolous things. If you do this constantly, you will find that things accumulate. Then, when you look back, you will find that you have gained so much by using your time wisely.
